The Nigeria Police Force has announced the appointment of Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Dolapo Badmos as its Representative to the United Nations Permanent Mission in New York.



The deployment, approved by Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, is seen as part of broader efforts to deepen Nigeria’s engagement in international security and law enforcement.

Before her new posting, ACP Badmos served as Assistant Commissioner of Police in charge of Federal Operations at the Department of Force Intelligence, Abuja.

She is, however, best known to the public for her tenure as Police Public Relations Officer in Lagos State and later Zone 2 Command, where her professionalism, charisma, and approachable style earned her widespread recognition.
